Seven Seas
Playing Events
Event gameplay is a face-off between the player ship and its opponent. The opponent depends on the type of the Event; it can be a ship, a port, a creature, or other kinds of opponents. The Event is solved by fulfilling the objectives within the Event.
An Event is solved by picking fitting choices depending on the situation. A choice must be made to progress through an Event. After the decision, the dice are rolled and the actual effect of the choices is evaluated. The effects of player's and opponents' choices are then applied to the respective sides.
There are several possible outcomes to an event, but only one will happen: Winning by achieving the objectives of the related event. Losing due to opponent choices that bring down player ship health or crew. Escaping by choices made by the player to avoid strong opponents.
Journal
The Journal gives you an overview of available quests. Main quests will progress you towards eventually winning the game. Side quests offer you a wide variety of pirate adventures and challenges for extra rewards.
Principle Events
The path to victory is found in completing Principle Events. You will need a good ship and Crew to succeed at them. You can follow a single path, or all of them at once.
Ship Supplies
Each ship comes with different stats. Supplies is an important stat of each ship, since every action in the event gameplay comes with a supply cost. If a ship's Supplies run low, they must be restocked during the event, at specific world events, or at your island. An event cannot be completed without Supplies, but it will not be lost when Supplies run out either. With the right ship and preparation, no event will pose a problem.
